I always looked forward to seeing John every winter in Myrtle Beach. He always made sure he stopped at the Front Desk to chat with me for a few minutes on his way out for the day. He had a deep love for his country and his family. Rest peacefully my friend, I will miss you and your sweet smile.

We met John at Myrtle Beach while wintering at the Breakers. Enjoyed having breakfast with him and conversing with him. He had such a kind and loving spirit. Will miss him.
