Very sorry to learn of the passing of Jerry. My brother, Dick Hiner, went to school with Jerry, and played sports with him at Godwin. I was ten years younger, and remember going to their basketball games in the late '40's. May God bless him, and his family members.

Dad,
Thank you for being such a wonderful father and an amazing and kind man. You were loved by people all across this city. Nobody can understand how someone who suffered so much for 45 years always had a smile and never once complained. Mom said you never once spoke a mean word to her in 57 years of marriage. We miss you so much it hurts with a deep pain and we want you back, but we are all convinced that you are in Heaven with your Savior and God. Goodbye dad, I love you.
