Dear Betsy,
I learned from Hilary that Terry has died. I am so sorry. I was in GR on the 29th and would have attended her service but was giving a reception for Jean Attwood Miller at that exact time. (Jean has also been diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
My mother, sister, Rosemary, husband, Hans and I had many happy times with Terry on MV. Three times I visited Terry at Windemere, once with Carol Ralph Perkins when we sang Camp Keewano songs. Terry loved it!
We are all thinking of you and send our love and heartfelt sympathy,

My sincere condolences on Terry's passing. Hopefully you have the photos shared with her at Windemere before she left the Vineyard to be with you all back in Mich. She was my dear teacher at Edgartown High School and much later in both our retirement a frequent lunch partner at the Anchors. She always had a smile and a story to share.

Dear Family of Terry Burke,
I first met Terry when she worked at the M.V. High School.
After she retired, I would occasionally find her on the bus from her Harvard "retirement" learning in Boston, on the Woods Hole run. She was always enthusiastic, whether working or "retired," and I learned a lot during our shared travel time, mostly about Dutch painters.
She was one of those people who added lustre and enthusiasm to the community, wherever she was!
She will be missed.
