Penelope "Penni" Louise Yost

On Friday July 22, 2022 Penni Yost passed away peacefully after battling illness over the last few months.  She loved the music of John Denver, hot air balloons, painting, and traveling.  While being employed as a travel agent for many years, she traveled to Sweden, Mexico, Jamaica, Hawaii, Bahamas, and especially loved Colorado.  Now she can finally go visit Alaska, which she was never able to do.  Penni was an expert quilter, seamstress, and fiber crafter.  She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Penni was predeceased by her parents, Victoria Elizabeth (Cornellissens) and Clinton Charles Yost, and her brother David Yost.  She is survived by her sisters, Barbara Robinson and Judy Menardie, and her bothers Tom (Marilou) Yost and James Yost, her children Viki (Shane) Jubenville and Scot (Alicia) Beekman, her grandchildren Brianne and Gavin, and her great grandchildren Ryliegh, Lilly, and Maci. 

Remembrance dinners will be held in Michigan and New York at the family’s convenience.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Renucci House or Spectrum Health Hospice.  Thank you to all of those who have loved, helped, and cared for Penni in her life, especially those at Medilodge of Wyoming and Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital 7S, 2W, and hospice care.  

Rest easy, leave on that jet plane, and take those country roads home.
