Marlene Kunce

 Marlene Nina Kunce, (Baumann), age 83 of Grand Rapids Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

Marlene was born in Detroit, Mi. on May 7, 1939 the daughter of William and Annanina (Costanza) Baumann, sister of James Angelo Baumann. Marlene graduated from Detroit Southeastern High School in the class of 1957. She was united in marriage to William O Kunce Jr. (deceased), in Detroit, Mi. on May 17, 1958. She Is survived by her son William and Janene (Cunningham) Kunce of Traverse City, Mi. Daughters Lori (Kunce) Ensing and Steven Ensing of Vicksburg, Mi. and Dr. Linda Kunce of Grand Rapids, Mi. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Elena Misailedes of Co. and Alexander Ensing of Vicksburg, Mi.

After their marriage, Marlene and Bill focused their energies on their new family, moving to their new home in the Detroit suburb of Harper Woods, Mi. where Marlene supported and encouraged her children in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Little League and band. The family moved to Grand Rapids, Mi. in 1979 where she remained until her passing.
