Joyce E. Brown

Joyce Eileen Brown age 87, of East Grand Rapids, passed away on July 17, 2021 surrounded by her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Brown and her grandson Benjamin Brown.  Joyce is survived by her three children, Donald (Cindy) Brown, Steve Brown and Sharon (Scott) VanderWerp, six grandchildren, Kelley, Stacey, Jason, Stephanie, Steven and Andrew, 14 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.  Joyce worked for 30 years at Steketee's and volunteered at Blodgett Hospital for 10 years, she loved her family, cottage and watching birds.  Funeral services for Joyce will be held 11am on Wednesday July 28 at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home.  The family will greet friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8pm and 1 hour prior to the service from 10 to 11am at the funeral home.
