Frank Amadee McClarin died peacefully on Friday, Sept. 9, in Wyoming, Mich. He was 86.
Born in St. Louis, Mo., on Dec. 12, 1935, he lived most of his life there but resided in Michigan in recent years to be closer to family.
After graduating from high school in 1953 he joined the U.S. Navy and then served in the Naval reserves until 1961. He retired in 2000 after a lengthy career in sales with NAPA Auto Parts.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Lillian, brother Mitchell (Diane) and sister Lorraine (Richard Boland). He is survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Friday September 16, 2022 in the chapel at Resurrection Cemetery, 4100 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming, MI 49509.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project or Folds of Honor Foundation.
