Flora J. Kapteyn

June Kapteyn age 95, passed to her eternal home, welcomed by her Heavenly Father, husband Bill, daughter Jan Marie and brother Thomas (Lois) Boslooper, her parents Peter and Gertrude Boslooper (Penning) and step father John Penning.  She is survived by her daughter Susan (Tom) Hallifax, son David (Susie) Kapteyn, daughter Mary Lou Kapteyn and son Bill (Nancy) Kapteyn Jr.  To treasure her memory are her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  June graduated from GR Central High School and attended Calvin College.  She was a stay-at-home mom, later working at the Grand Rapids Teachers Credit Union (LMCU) for 30 years.  She loved to journal and had a gift of writing poetry, many of which were inspired by Gods Word.  In celebration of her life we will gather for a memorial service at Third Reformed Church, 2060 Michigan St. NE, Grand Rapids, Michigan, at 2pm on Saturday February 4, 2023 with visitation 12-2pm preceding the service.  Memorial contributions may be given to Third Reformed Church or Good News Nepal.
