Chloe B. Jones

Chloe B. Jones, age 93, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, January 9, 2023. Chloe will be remembered for her witty intellect, a passion for learning, and her deep love of her family. Chloe was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Lester P. Jones, and his sister, Patricia Kimm. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Susan (Michael) Farrar; her granddaughter, Katie (Alex) Crystal; and her great-grandchildren, Kyle and Claire. Chloe was an avid traveler and enjoyed visiting different museums across the globe. She also was known for her green thumb as a master gardener. Chloe admired hard work, and she graduated from Connecticut College for Women and started her career in antiques after studying at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She relished in lecturing, teaching, and running her own estate sale and appraisal business for many years. A memorial service honoring Chloe's life will be held January 18th at 11:30 am in the Meeting House at Porter Hills, 3600 Fulton SE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Faith Hospice of Grand Rapids or The Clark Foundation.
