Carol J. Van Spronsen

Carol Jean Van Spronsen passed away into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 12, 2023.  She was born on August 22, 1934 in Grand Rapids to the late Plink and Minnie Wolfert.  She was preceded in death by her husband Neil, son Roger, grandson Chad, granddaughter Brooke and great grandson Ethan. 

She is survived by her children Robin (Lee) Baldwin of Ada, Randy (Sue) Van Spronsen of Lowell, Bob (Mary) Van Spronsen of Middleville, Rhonda (Dave) Fosburg of Ionia, 16 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and her sister Phillis (Pete) Miedema and several nieces and nephews.  Carol loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.  She enjoyed knitting, baking, camping and playing cards.  She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday March 17th at Ada Christian Reformed Church, 7152 Bradfield St. SE, Ada, MI 49301.  The family will greet relatives and friends for a visitation on Thursday from 6-8pm at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home and from 10-11am at the church on Friday.  Interment in Bailey Cemetery, Vergennes Twp.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Faith Hospice.
