Zita Anne (Allen) Lewis

Zita Anne Lewis (nee Allen) of Ada was reunited, with the love of her life, her husband, Russell John Lewis, Jr., on Saturday, May 26, 2018, after 54 years apart. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Zita (Gehring) Allen, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Russell John, Sr. and Edna (Briggs) Lewis, her sister-in-law, Melanie Ripley, her brother-in-law, Gladeon Lewis and his wife, Norma, as well as her grandsons, Taylor Winn and Ben Aldrich.

She is survived by her brother, Martin J. Allen Jr., and his wife, Sue, brother-in-law, Alpha Lewis, and his wife, Margie, brother-in-law Bill Lewis, and his wife Sherri, sister-in-law, Pam, and brothers-in-law Jerry Riva and Dave Ripley.

She is also survived by her children, Kelly (Jon) Thurston, Zita (John) Winn, Sarah (Greg) Austin, and Russell (Rusty) John Lewis III. 

She was the proud Grammy to Taylor and Sawyer Thurston, Kenny Anderson, Zita (Dan) Muladore, Tara, Jared (April), and Dana Lemin, and Russell John IV (Ashley) and Briggs (Dylan) Lewis.

She will be missed by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and 10 great-grandchildren.

As were Zita’s wishes, cremation and a private memorial have taken place.
