Robert Lock Jasperse

Robert "Bob" Jasperse passed away peacefully on July 4, 2018.  He was born in Grand Rapids, May 1, 1925 and lived his entire life in Cascade Township.  Bob was a graduate of the University of Michigan.  He served in the Navy during WWII in the pacific theater. He was a dedicated gardener and loved growing flowers.  Bob is survived by his wife of 66 years Yvonne, his three children, Douglas (Paula) Jasperse of Middleville, Jeffrey Jasperse of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Kristin Jasperse of Colorado Springs, Colorado, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, brothers John of Grand Rapids and Roger (Vera) of Pennsylvania.  A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Monday, July 9, 2018 at Orchard Hill Reformed Church, 1465 3 Mile Rd. Grand Rapids, MI with visitation one hour prior to the service.  For those desiring, memorial contributions can be made to Orchard Hill Reformed Church or Cascade Christian Church.
