Martha Munn Dennis (formerly Schneider)

Martha Dennis (formerly Schneider; nee Munn), 98, of Grand Rapids passed away on February 08, 2018 in Muskegon, Michigan. Martha was born in Grand Rapids to Orson and Sadie Munn on August 11, 1919. She graduated from Central High School, and then married Paul K. Schneider. Martha worked as an Interior Decorator for a number of years, and eventually started her own business with her husband, Paul, while raising their three sons. Both were heavily involved in community theater, as well and their local Methodist Church throughout their life together. They retired to Bradenton, FL in 1983. Paul passed away in 1988. Martha married Daniel Dennis in 2000, and they spent 12 happy years together traveling the world before he passed in 2012. Martha is survived by three sons, Paul “Kem” Schneider Jr. of Phoenix and his wife Linda, John Schneider of Las Vegas and his wife Jayne, and Richard Schneider of Whitehall and his wife Jan; four grandchildren, Aura Paparella, Derek Schneider, Michael Schneider and Keith Schneider, and three great-grandchildren, Leah, Kara, and Mark Paparella. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Clark Retirement Community Chapel, 1551 Franklin St. SE, Grand Rapids with Rev. David Nellist of Trinity Methodist Church officiating. For those who wish memorial contributions to the Clark Retirement Community Foundation would be appreciated.
