Dennis O'Neill

On Monday, April 8, 2019 Dennis O’Neill, age 67, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family and joined his heavenly family.  He is already missed by his wife of 44 years, Kathy; children Kathryn, David and Kayla, and Laura; grandchildren Kian and Ilaria; sister Patricia and Ben Bruinsma, and brother Terry and Julie O’Neill; and nephews Benjamin, Joshua and Sarah, and Casey.  Denny was active at St Paul’s UMC church as Youth Leader, teaching Sunday school, Stephen's Ministry, and serving on many committees. For the past decade, he shared his love for the Lord with prisoners through the Keryx Prison Ministry.  Visitation with the family will be held 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, April 11 at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 4291 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI. The memorial service is at St Paul’s United Methodist Church, 3334 Breton Road SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512 at 11 am on Friday, April 12.  In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Keryx Prison Ministry or Hospice of Holland.
