Kevin Carl Henkel age 54 of Grand Rapids, passed away on August 21, 2021. He is survived by his wife Stacey (Burns), daughter Lilia, parents Raymond (Nancy) Henkel and Geraldine Henkel, siblings: Steve (Jennifer) Henkel, Scott (Debbie) Henkel, Susan (Fred) Schmidt, Tricia (Nathaniel) Butler and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Kevin graduated from West Catholic High School in 1985, Aquinas College in 1989 and received his MBA from the University of Illinois in 1992. Growing up working in the Tool and Die industry, Kevin started his own consulting business to provide engineering services to local injection molding automotive clients.
Kevin married Stacey on September 30th, 1995. He was an amazing supportive husband and father. Kevin spent the last 18 years being an awesome dad to Lilia, supporting her in all her activities, following her around the golf courses and preparing her for life. He was known as someone that would help anyone.
Kevin was a member at Cascade Hills Country Club. His favorite past times were playing Sunday morning rounds with Stacey and Lilia, being on the Happy Tour: golfing with great friends at great courses and constantly researching to fix any problem that would arise.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday August 25th from 4 pm to 6 pm at Cascade Township Park pavilion, 3810 Thornapple River Dr SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Immune Deficiency Foundation in honor of Kevin Henkel.
