Joseph Kim

Joseph Kim, age 52, of Kentwood passed away unexpectedly at his home. Joseph was born in Lansing, MI on July 12, 1966, the son of Dr. Youn S. and Suzie Kim.  He graduated from Forest Hills Northern High School and attended Calvin College. He greatly enjoyed his work with art, especially sculpting.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Suzie Kim.  Joseph is survived by his father, Dr. Youn Kim; his two brothers and his sister: Paul Kim, John (Mary) Kim, Bonnie Brameijer, three nephews and one niece.  The family will receive friends at Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 12th from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to a local charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
