Simone Cecile (Bouchard) Brissette

Simone Cecile Brissette, age 77, of Ada passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 11, 2018 surrounded by her family. Simone was born in Middleton, MA on August 13, 1940 to Henry and Claudina Bouchard. She grew up in Middleton with her fifteen brothers and sisters. Simone married the love of her life, Leo A Brissette, in 1962 and raised three beautiful girls: Kathy, Patty, and Lee Ann. Simone was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family and was excited to become a grandmother "Mimi" to her 5 grandchildren. Simone loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. Simone was known for her feisty, yet good sense of humor. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.  Simone was the beloved wife of the late Leo A. Brissette, devoted mother of Kathy Emery and her husband Bruce, Patty Brissette, and Lee Ann Vandenvrijhoef and loving grandmother "Mimi" to Julie Hamilton, Christopher Emery, Lindsay Vandenvrijhoef, RJ Vandenvrijhoef and Reagan Vandenvrijhoef.  An intimate family celebration of Simone's life took place on Saturday, Janaury 13th.  For those who wish, memorials may be made to St. Robert of Newminster Parish.
