I was out of town when I learned of Mr. Redd's passing. A "Friendly Visitor" from Mayflower visited him every month and always came away with great stories. Thanks for the laughs. We will miss our monthly visits!

I wanted to tell your family about how your father helped me start my business.
When I was moving from a larger firm to start an interior design business of my own, I was paired with your dad, because he volunteered his time to give advice to new company owners. He patiently explained how to register my company name, set up a bank account and recommended an accountant to take care of me. I still use them today. It was a small thing to do, but I have now been in business for 28 years and it was his willingness to give of his time that helped me get on my way.
I am grateful to your dad.
Mary Dixon/Dixon Interior Design, Ada, Michigan.

I said a prayer this morning when I saw in the newspaper that Bob has passed. My own humble chapter in his long and wonderful story is the fond memory I have of accompanying Bob several years as I assisted his rollerskating lead in the Ada Fourth of July parade. I also looked forward each week to seeing Bob at the Woodland Roller Rink and we had an amiable group of regulars there. On a few occasions, my husband, Jim, and I were invited to the house in Ada (such as after the parade) and Ann was a wonderful person to get to know, too. We were even invited to dinner at the Penn Club once, and that was very special. God bless your wonderful parents who brought so much joy into so many lives.

Hi Dad,
Looks like Mom's vacation is over. Well you always said you would live to a ripe old age, you were right. These past few years have been rough on you and I know you're in a better place. As you often said, "peace at any price." I hope you have found that peace. Your zest and enthusiasm for life will be missed. I do believe it still lives on in your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Godspeed Dad...be careful.

Love, Lesa

Hey Dad, glad you are in a better place now. Yah, Porter Hills was ok, but their coffee was not that great and kinda skimpy on the deserts. Where you are the coffee is grand and there is lots of cake!!

Rest Bob Rest...then get busy...lots to organize in your new space.

We love you and know you are still monitoring us! Keep an eye on Jimbo!
