So sorry we have lost another classmate. Bob was my reunion buddy...
giving me a ride to and from our last reunion dinner. We had fun
pretending to be on a date! He reminded me that he had lived on Ogden
and played with our childhood group there! Shall miss him.

News of Bob's death was a real shock. This is the loss of a childhood friend, one who was a memorable part of my years growing up in East Grand Rapids. He was a blithe spirit, the life of any party and a caring friend. Though our paths have not crossed often of late, I shall always remember the good times we had together in our formative years.
My condolences to Michael and Anne who have endured the loss of now two of their siblings.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I didn't know him as well as I did his other brothers but I *do* remember a good man with a great sense of humor. Rest In Peace, Bobby!

Our sympathies to Bob's family and friends. I worked with Bob, albeit briefly, on a land crew in SE Michigan and again in Central Michigan over the last three years. I didn't get to know Bob as well as the rest of the crew who worked daily with him for the last few years. I noticed that he became their mentor, confidant and FRIEND for sure. He will be greatly missed for his wisdom, wise cracks and general friendship. He had a way of showing that friendship in an unusual manner most of the time, but we all saw through his tough exterior into his heart and soul.

Bob and I shared a bond of health issues that we talked about with each other often. I will certainly miss those chats.

May the choirs of angels come to greet you.
May they speed you to paradise.
May the Lord enfold you in his mercy.
May you find eternal life.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.

God Bless You Bob;
