My sincere condolences for your loss. I had the privilege of Pat being my nursing manager on the general pediatric and pediatric intensive care units at Blodgett Hospital for 9 years. She was a special lady and I will always remember her fondly.

I have thought of Pat often through out the years - she hired me as new Peds nurse at Blodgett in 1985 and was probably the best 'manager' I ever had. We shared many, many laughs and enjoyed a wonderful friendship - Please accept my condolences on your loss of a great woman!

I am thinking of all the Cook family, and Karen, and know you have lost a wonderful mother, grandmother and mother in law. I had the pleasure of meeting her in, I think 2001, and then so many fun memories over the years of many more gatherings in Grand Rapids, Petoskey and Marquette . Her smile and warmth were infectious and her concern and caring and friendship for my mother when she moved to EGR are qualities I will always remember about Pat. She knew so much and was always available and hepful to me, and and later when my mother became ill her caring and concern were so comforting. And when she died I loved the times we got together and the fact she and my Mom had been friends. As I age, I will often think of Pat and try to incorporate the things I've learned from her over the years. The world is a lesser place without Pat in it, but her legacy will remain, and we have all benefited from knowing her. Feeling sad and grateful, Nancy
