Molly Jo (Volkhardt) Hulbert

Molly Jo Hulbert  born October 4, 1973, passed away on Nov. 29, 2016 after a short battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband Marc Donald and two sons Gavin John (11) and Ethan Marshall (8), her parents J. Stevens and Susan Volkhardt, sister and brother-in-law Sarah and Daniel Kushner, two nephews Matthew and Samuel Kushner, father and mother-in-law Donald and Janice Hulbert, brother-in-law Jeffrey Hulbert, nephew Jeffrey Hulbert II, niece Courtney Hulbert, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Molly will be dearly remembered for her warm smile, kind heart and joyful spirit. She was a 1991 Forest Hills Northern graduate. Molly developed a love for animals early in life which brought her to work at Cascade Hospital for Animals and participate in dog shows. Her favorite vacation destination was Walt Disney World where she traveled on countless trips over the years with family and friends. Most recently was this past February when Marc and Molly surprised Gavin and Ethan at Christmas with a week-long trip for the family.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Service, 4291 Cascade Road SE. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11a.m. at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, 7495 Cascade Road SE. Private graveside service will be held at Rockford Cemetery, Rockford, MI.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to College America for an educational fund for Molly's children.
