Mark E. LaSage

Mark Evans LaSage, age 60, of Grand Rapids, MI passed away peacefully on Monday, March 20, 2017 surrounded by his loved ones. Born on July 10, 1956 in Detroit, MI. He was the son of Don Palmer and Shirley Evans LaSage. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Libby Stephenson. He is survived by his daughters, Kristin and Lauren of Caledonia, MI; along with their mother, Judy LaSage; his sister Kathy (Ed) Karr of Eden Prairie, MN; brother Brian (Jana) LaSage of Parrish, FL; and brother-in-law Ken Stephenson of Tipp City, OH; and 5 nephews and nieces. He devoted his life to a successful career in sales for a variety of products and services. Mark’s enjoyment in life was found in spending time with his daughters and family. His hobbies included being by the water, boating Lake Michigan, talking politics, and going to the movies. Grand Rapids was Mark’s home and he was very proud of that. A service for Mark will be held at Brightside Church, in Caledonia, on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 2pm followed by a time of fellowship with the family. There will be a Private Family Interment at Pine Lake Cemetery in West Bloomfield, MI on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be given to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Michigan Chapter.
