Jason David Ike

Jason David Ike Sr., left this life February 28, 2018 at the age of 38.  He was born August 20, 1979, in Grand Rapids, and lived here his entire life.  Jason left his family with broken hearts and lots of great memories. He loved his son, Jason, more than anything in this world. Family was always the most important thing for all of us. He loved to fish, fish, fish.  Jason was a great cook. No matter where he worked he would put 100 percent into presenting the very best meal for the customer. His soups were incredible!  Jason left behind his son, Jason David Ike Jr; his parents, David and Lynne Ike; his brother, Matthew Ike (Lacey); very special lady in his life, Katie Warner; nieces, Faith, Sabrina, Paige, Maya; nephew Eli; his son's mother, Jackie Burt; his step-son, Joseph Umlauf; uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.  In lieu of flowers, donations to his son Jason's college fund are appreciated.  A visitation will be held Sunday March 4th from 2-4 and 6 – 8 pm, at Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Service, 4291 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Plymouth United Church of Christ, 4010 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, will be Monday March 5th, at 2:00 pm.
