Geraldine Furniss

Geraldine (Hornig) Furniss passed away quietly surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the age of 88.  Gerry was preceded in death by her husband, Louis C. Furniss, her sons, Steve Furniss and Tom McCambridge, her parents, Ralph and Hazel Hornig and her sister, Ruth Marie Spencer.   Gerry is survived by her children, Susan and Bill Griswold, Sally McCambridge, Sarah and Ken Bolter and Mary Furniss.  She leaves behind grandchildren Carrie, Jeffrey and Scott McCambridge, Michael Griswold, Stephi and Nikki Bolter and Jason and Amanda Boonstra as well as great grandchildren Gabe and Theo McCambridge and Amelia and Quinn Boonstra.  Gerry’s big heart, warm smile, sense of humor and love of family will be missed by all.  Private family services will be held.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Christian Rest Home, 1000 Edison Ave. NW Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
