Condolences to the Melton family. Doyle was a good friend and classmate in the Boscobel, WI class of 1955. I remember how much he loved to play basketball and our rides on the school bus.

Though we did not know Doyle very well, we know his son Shawn, the fruits of Doyle''s life. He must have been a good man and dad to have such wonderful legacies. The Gibson family sends our love as we celebrate a life well lived.

I never wanted to except this time would come. We love Doyle so much. He was the father we never had. Doyle was a loving and kind man that loved God and others. We will miss greatly, as we do now. I will miss all the times we talked, cried, prayed and laughed together. I will the times we hung out watching movies and having dinner. He was such an inspiration and has truly touched our lives. I/We love you, Doyle, please take care of our mom when you see her. I am so glad that you are now in God's hands and surrounded by so much love. You are the best man I've ever known.
