Brian Earl Fisher

Brian Earl Fisher, 50, of Whitecloud, Michigan died in an auto accident on October 9, 2015. He is preceded in death by his Father Earl G. Fisher. Brian grew up in Belmont and spent much of his teen and adult life in Jacksonville and Cape Coral, FL.

Brian is lovingly remembered by his mother Suzanne Waugh of Florida; brother Eric of Kentucky; sisters Lisa Sheridan and Tracey DiGiacomo of Florida and Jessica Petersen (John) of Oregon; children Colten, Brian and Sara of Florida; grandchildren Brinson and Nathan; step brother Billy Waugh (Loretta) of Florida; step mom Debbie Wildman of Idaho; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Brian was deeply connected to his Native American heritage, living life as an adventurous spirit following his passions and his dreams. He was an artist of wood carvings and a skilled tree surgeon, earning him the respect of many in the field. Brian felt most alive in the trees and with a chain saw in his hands. He found joy in spending time with family and friends.

A Celebration of Brian’s life will be held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 4301 Ambrose Ave NE in Grand Rapids on November 7, 2015 at 4 p.m. with Pastor Jim Hodge officiating. A reception will immediately follow.
